Mini App Template Platform is a no-code builder that empowers non-technical business teams to create and publish branded mini apps directly within Vietnam’s largest e-wallet, MoMo, which serves over 31 million users. Brands like Highlands Coffee, ToCoToCo, and The Coffee House used the platform to launch loyalty programs, ordering flows, and promotional campaigns without writing a single line of code.
Challenge
MoMo’s mini app SDK required developers familiar with its proprietary component library and deployment pipeline. For every new brand partner wanting a presence in the MoMo ecosystem, both the brand’s dev team and MoMo’s integration team had to invest weeks of effort. This created a hard ceiling on how quickly MoMo could scale its merchant network and limited access to brands without dedicated engineering resources.
Solution
The platform provides a visual drag-and-drop canvas built on React, with a curated library of MoMo-native UI components — product grids, loyalty cards, QR scanners, and payment buttons — pre-wired to MoMo APIs. Business users configure content, colours, and flows through a guided interface, and the platform compiles a fully valid mini app bundle for one-click submission to MoMo’s review pipeline. A live preview panel renders the app exactly as it would appear on a user’s phone.
